How can i raise my blood iron level? - iron plasma announcements

I would like to donate blood this week at a blood drive at my school and I am interested in my plasma donation in a blood bank. The last time I went to give blood, I refused because I had low iron content. How do I get my iron levels? I know that iron supplements over the counter, but theres so much, I am sure that I buy the good, the greater will be for food and beverages also increase my iron levels? Thank you.

  5. There are many foods that are rich in iron:
    Beef, Pork, Lamb (Pick red meats that are lean)
    Greens: spinach, asparagus, broccoli, kale, mustard greens, kale, kohlrabi, parsley, cabbage
    Forti Some foods: cereal, oatmeal, pasta, rice, oatmeal
    Liver, tofu, barley, fish: potato with tuna, salmon, shrimp, tuna, oysters, clams and many types of seafood
    Most types of beans: Beans, beans, lima beans, soy, beans, chickpeas, pinto beans, kidney beans Black Eye
    Nuts: almonds, cashews, walnuts, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, tahini
    Fruits: apricots, Razin, Dates - Prunes, figs, turkey, chicken, egg yolk.
